  1. Indocil, that Les Paul is off the hook! I've always had alot of respect for the NCHP, and your work oozes what they are all about in my book! Great work! Lucky trooper!

Great work by everyone!!!! I know I've been AWOL from here for a few weeks, but a new job and a bunch of other stuff have been keeping me away from my art. Thankfully, all that's changed now. I'll finally have time to get back to drawing and painting. Maybe I'll even learn how to use Paint or some other program, instead of hand drawing everything. haha. Time to teach this old dog some new tricks. Anyway, here's one I did a while ago, just playing around with mixed media. I wanted to try my hand at some dimensional art. It's a '59 Edsel hubcap, a '55 Ford tail light and a little One Shot on black illustration board.

Gary, Norwell,Von Franco, Britt, very very kool. The Friday art show puts things in perspective, if you think your good just check out the variety of art displayed every friday and it will make you humble, lotta great artists. Here are a few of my older works, and thanks to the Hamb! Sonny

  9. I've been wanting to find the time to get back to doing a little illustration for a while now. This May will be the 20th anniversary of my graduation from art school. I did a ton of illustration in school but my career has been more focused on art direction, so I haven't done much drawing since.

Well, here's my first attempt at getting back to drawing – a 29 roadster in a style that I admire and hope to refine into something more unique.

This is a photo my buddy took of my truck over this past weekend. You can really sense the movement. I thought he did a great job. :D

How does Von Franco achieve that "look" to his artwork? The highlights look a little airbrush, a little paintbrush. Excellent stuff.

O/T (sort of) work done this week. Its a bar sign for a friend to give to his girl for her b'day. A lot of people on here go to bars, so i guess its not too O/T. 1-shot and gold leaf /copper leaf on glass.

Love the picture man.. photos taken from a matched speed vehicle are always amazing!

On a side note, I especially love the photo as I learned to drive on my father's '46 chevy which looked just like that! sweet!

Good job Zach! keep it comming... you need to draw a picture of a '54 chevy next!

HIDDEN has never hidden where his inspiration comes from.
He's got a great eye and creates beautiful art.

Hidden, haven't you posted step by steps of your process on the F.A.S.T. group?
