Nice I didn't want to be a dick. But moving that window down fixed the chop. When I chop those I leave about a foot long stip under the window frame uncut and let the glass hinge forward. It works out good. Scott
How tall are you? I have 3" from my head to the roof in my coupe, and it is stock height. I can't imagine driving it sectioned and with a lower lid, unless I run super low buckets.
I'm 6'1" Shouldn't be a problem I think yet lol but will have low seats in it gonna have to run buckets unfortunately, as the drive shaft bump is to big to run a front bench.
Been slow spent a weekend pissing with front glass tried to make some from an old truck but the glass wasn't quite right and fit like ass gonna have to spend the $$ on some glass no worries I'm now dabbing in the air ride thing never done it before and was a pain in the ass to figure out as I was sent the wrong bags for the front but made em work lol. I also got the back setup just did blocks with the bag over the axle just to keep it simple. Way more cutting than one would have needed with a smaller set of bags and wouldn't have had to screw with the lower control arm either still have to brace it some more. Rear pretty simple 4" block bags on top. The start of filling the whole Had an old grand prix with a good tank. I had to make it high enough to clear the exhaust and keep the tank away from the ground. Don't need to be blowing holes in the tank from stones or anything as I do have to drive dirt roads around my place.

that side profile is bitchin'. do you know what you are doin for brake lights yet? the 49/50's that are mounted in between the fender and trunk always looked cross eyed to me.
This thread kicks ass. This is the nice part about the snow ridden area of the states/canada... if you've got a shop and some good lighting, you never know what will come out the door when the snow melts... keep it up!
Not a 100% stuck on either caddy lights or some 39 ford tail lights. leaning more to the 39's though and put em in the same place as the chev.
Little vent window work Tear it apart Measure it up Bend er up. No idea if theirs a better way to do this has to be a better way that don't screw up the chrome. Check for fit
Nice work whit the vents, much better than cuttin it. Did the same on my girls Amazon, both front and rear windows.

Oh yeah, I can smell the paint smoking around all those welds. Good job, and a few weeks is all it takes....when you're in the flow. I chopped channeled and z'd my 31A last Feb, open the door at 3 am, let some more welding smoke out, shut it and get some more fresh air from a kerosene blower, repeat until sunrise.<p>Good Job.
Someone is repopping those '41 Stude lights. I found them on line a few days ago but they were very expensive. Seem like I read $450/pair or somthing like that. Tom
That's a lotta dough for a set of tail lights. Today I hit the 22lb mark on the mig wire lol. So got my shifter in. (for some reason it looks a little crooked?) And got my front door trim done the rear's will be fun tomorrows project.
Not a clue gonna run it rough like it is for this year and then decide next winter what i'm going to do.
