Shaved Handles...what did You Do?

    i think the little ****on mixed with the vent window idea incase of ****on failure.....cant wait till i finish!:D

    im just reaching in until i get my side gl***. then i'll probably run some kinda cable into the engine compartment or trunk. or at least until i get tired of it :)

    On my daily ive got an autoloc kit, which really isnt that expensive, lil over a hundred if i remember right, then on the p***enger side a stainless wire that runs to the inside of the bottom of the fender...for the oops, or **** my keyfob is inthere trick..then heres a cool trick to make the soleniods last longer, we went to walmart, got baby ******s for bottles and put them over the wire and top of the solenoid and walla....no more corrosion...

  7. Hey Dad, I resemble that remark. M J has said for years that the only time I would take her and the girls out to the state fair was on free day. I always thought that I was just being thrifty.
    Besides that you probably had some one give you the solenoids.

    Use the most simple way you can. I'm using remote electric windows controled by a Hotronics cpu. I just roll down the windows and reach inside. Never had a breakdown with it, but would never shave door handles again. Had shaved handles on my 56 Merc when I was a kid, had a dummy spot light that rotated and pulled a cable though the door hinge to release the latch. It's cheap and simple.

    I did that vent wing thing for 18 years, got over it and put door handles on it when I finally painted it .
