This came today, and sure reminds me of "X" in it's prime. I'm doing a motor swap. Check the engine set-back.******en? You bet!!!!!!!!
I miss Project X We all know that cars can fight you during a build if they are not happy with the way its going, I wonder how long it took the GM engineers to beat her into submission........
The customer supplied the motor. I just know it's a small block built on a Dart block with ported "humps" and a roller cam. I guess I'll be in a better position to answer you in a few days, after a testicle pass down Clybourn (a long street that parallels the airport a 1/2 block from my shop). It's got a Richmond 5-gear in it
Well, all things considered, I don't hate it. Given some of the styles(?) of today, it could've been a LOT worse. Decent stance, big power, manual trans, and the mesh grill? I'd drive it.... (then I'd put an "axle" under the front, SS Cragars, lose the front bumper, and install cheater slicks)
That's a nice car Groucho. Picking an era from the Project X series and sticking with it is the way to go with a nice car like this. Pure and simple makes a loud statement. hope he appreciates what he has. Thanks.
