  9. I'm just surprised it took 25 posts until someone posted the requisite wiseass picture. Ahh, a great HAMB tradition!

I still need to work on the scallops in the last pic as I think they are still missing something. Perhaps I should copy the layout from the top picture.

When I built my coupe,I just painted it and forgot about it.But he car kind of just sat there--kinda ----nothing.Wanted to flame it,but hard to flame a yellow car and make it look good--so I scalloped it--BIG differece!

all very cool! I am planning on scallops on the caddy. I will have to scan in my concept picture I drew up and post it! I will try to do that later today.

Since my last post I've now got a real scalloped car to show instead of the photoshops above.
    Here's my '60 Chrysler NewYorker.

  26. Custommikes,
That looks like Glenn Stegman's old 57 Buick and the avatar looks like a car that used to go to Paso alot, a Volvo turned into the mini Merc. Now it's cut in half I believe and mounted on a garage. Nice pics though. Rags

  27. I have seen a lot of scallops throughout the years and in my opinion, a 57 Ford is the best body style to put scallops on.They seem to blend in easily with the shapes on the car.

These are rattle can scallops I did in 1958 over a $19.95 Earl Schibe paint job.
