I'm just surprised it took 25 posts until someone posted the requisite wiseass picture. Ahh, a great HAMB tradition!

 

usually it would have been ME that posted the wise ass picture or comment but seeing as it was my thread ... i KNEW when i posted it that SOMEONE would do that. i was'nt the least bit surprised. us wise asses are a little predictable that way.

 

I like scallops when they're tastefull, but sometimes they can be over-done.

 

Small ones just to add a little color.

56 vicky bought it on the bay couple of years ago pretty f'd up still messin with it. 60 starliner was friend of mines car pic taken round 61 or so

 

When I built my coupe,I just painted it and forgot about it.But he car kind of just sat there--kinda ----nothing.Wanted to flame it,but hard to flame a yellow car and make it look good--so I scalloped it--BIG differece!

 

all very cool! I am planning on scallops on the caddy. I will have to scan in my concept picture I drew up and post it! I will try to do that later today.

That looks like Glenn Stegman's old 57 Buick and the avatar looks like a car that used to go to Paso alot, a Volvo turned into the mini Merc. Now it's cut in half I believe and mounted on a garage. Nice pics though. Rags

 

I have seen a lot of scallops throughout the years and in my opinion, a 57 Ford is the best body style to put scallops on.They seem to blend in easily with the shapes on the car.
