KY Boy; Thanks, in the process of my recycling, I tear everything down bolt by bolt and try to save what I think might be useful or of value to someone. In this case I have several diesel motors around and at this time a half dozen blowers in the shop that I thought might be good for something. I don't know the size of them and they are in various states of disrepair. This is future trading stock I guess. Thank you for the promt reply. Bruce

Yes, 4 cylinder 71 Series Detroit Diesel. A 2 stroke engine with 71 cubic inches per cylinder. Sorry I'm of topic, but inquiring minds want to know.

  5. Absolutely love it. Short wheelbase, chrome reverse, baby moons, wide whites, all accented by the white top, interior and block and tasteful pinstriping -- overall, a very hot car!:)

P.S. Don't burst my bubble, but with the low angle photo the first time I saw this I thought it was so perfect it was a model.

It's in 1/25 scale but I like this style kind of like mid to late 60's. [IMG]

Does anybody remember in the 60’s t bucket using front sheetmetal of car of the 50’s turn up side down? I remember one here in west Texas that ran a Chevy 348 but I can remember what the body was made out of.

  17. Nothing lame about your car, John. The stance is right on, and the tank looks great from here. Mike

Here is one sitting at a house not far from me. Obviously built earlier than 1978 since it attended the Street Rod Nationals in Merced Californoa in 78'

John 69, are those two the same car? I like the top one a lot better.

Are there any more photos of Hollmann's....I had completely forgotten about that one. It was the first to use the older brass shell.
