I love that Merc. bumper, nice truck

 

Here's a picture of my 51 I built in 85, as with all of them, I wish I had it back, unlike today it was cheap to build, 302, auto with power disc brakes, it was a fun truck to build and drive.

 

Couverkid... that's just about perfect.

As promised...... My build in progress, I can see the end in site! Drove it down the road today. Tailgate & trailer hitch tomorrow. Glass & rear wide whites next week and TAA DAA. Off to the gas station.
Maybe some day I'll buy a sheet of plywood and put a bed in it so my cooler won't fall through.............

Does anyone have pictures or is there any 53 to 56 f100 4 x 4s out there. I have got the idea of may be building mine that way.

 

I don't have any pictures of it, but there is a 56 4 x 4 runnin around my part of town. It actually looks kinda cool! If I see it and can get pic, I will post it up.

My 1962 F100

 

That's the cats ass right there.

 

I am glad people like my truck. It has been done for years now it has 28,000 miles on it since built. Has 1957 312 y block with original fordamatic. Has mustang 2 front end just to help it drive better. Has bias ply tires and 56 lancer hubcaps. I try to build most of my cars to a period look and I just thought this is the look of a hot rodders pickup in 1956.I got this truck from a friends neighbor.This guy owned the truck since 1960.When he died his wife wanted it out of the garage and I was glad to get it from her. He did not like hot rods but I think I did it justice.Maybe I should start driving it again it is just setting in the back of the shop.

 

If you need someone to drive it, I would be more than happy too, lol.

 

Some that I took pictures of today. They have been there for years, I would like to have the one with the name on the door.

 

I just bought a 54 Ford F-100. I will post pics as soon as I get the truck home.
