Photobucket and IMG codes

Is anyone else having problems uploading pics from photobucket? I am doing the same thing I've done for months(with no problems) only now I get an error message while managing my attachments!!!! Am I just fuckin up or is there a problem!!!???

I usually just open 2 windows, Copy and Paste them in.

I dont even use the Manage Attachments anymore.

Just too much hassle if there too big.

make sure you are logged in on photobucket, I just uploaded a couple with no problems

Yup, My problem isn't adding photos, its clinking on the IMG code to copy them to add them to the HAMB. It quit working last week.
Now, I have to click on the photo that I want and the copy it and paste it to my message...weird, but you're not alone.

Its changed a little over there.Just roll the mouse over the pic and the img code stuff will just pop up and then you can click on it and bring it here just like before.

this is how I do it
open both photobucket and the hamb
in the thread that I want to post a picture to, I click on post reply
type in what I have to say
then go to photobucket, find picture
click the box below the picture -- jpg
then click on IMG code and copy
go back to reply in the post and paste
comes up in some img code, hit preview post
what I have to say and the picture pops up ( not in IMG code or writing the picture )
click on send then
don't know if I'm doing it right or the long way, but it works
found if you click on your picture you may send your whole album to the Hamb or the whole www.

Hey,No wories, we're all "in this together"!

If you use Photobucket as your "host" site,the HTML code (the one that starts with a href ) is the easiest to use when inserting pics in the post.
Resize the pics to a 640x480 size so they aren't to large. The pic in my above reply is that size. It's not too large for those with dial-up service.

This is "IMG" code. It's working for me although Photobucket has been fussy lately. I lost a few photos when they recently "improved" the site. There's too many bells and whistles now.

For myself and for anybody else here who's still on dial-up, I think I can safely say for all of us...

We LOVE you, man!!!!

Also, the smaller pics don't break the frames in the forum. And you don't have to scroll the screen from side to side to see the whole picture, even on a wide screen monitor. If you really need to show a full 5MP or larger image, post a link to it here to the full size image on your Photobucket or other hosting site.
