I found the Vicky and Tudor Dimensions scans in the 1932 owners hand book. I get a kick out of the giant frame Blueprints were alot of dimensions are off:eek:.

You, sir, have enormous huevos! Looks like it's coming along nicely, though. I'm glad I'm not building that thing. With my limited metal skills, I'd be scared to death to take on that much. Nicely done!

I got the door skins made over the weekend. I didn't have the camera to take pics as I went, but it wasn't too hard to do. I just cut a piece of sheetmetal large enough to cover the hole, rolled it through the English Wheel a few times to get the curve on it then I bent the 3 sides on the brake and hammered the edges over the old door frame. Oh yeah, I didn't mention that I had to porta power the frame back into shape and put new inner patches on them too to give them some shape. The body is pretty tweeked so I am going to straighten out the B pillars when I chop it....

I chopped the door frames last night to even them out with the Vicky side window. I took 1.5 out of the rear and 1 inch out of the front pillar. I am going to chop the windshield area tonight to make it line up. After I get it all square and together I will chop it maybe another 4 inches. It will kind of have the appearance of an angle chop.

...hey bubba...here's an idea I'm going to steal from Walden Speed Shop for the front suspension/shock mount.

Houdaille shocks ****...ask me how I know.

The front of these Rolling Bones types needs a tube shock, me thinks, to really control the bounce.

[IMG]Hey Larry, my opinion, moving the headlight mount back to shock mount really is smoother than the "bug eyed" look. I also favor the airplane style shock absorber. Regards, Ron

I worked on the chop the other night, here are the pics. I chopped the Vicky portion 4 inches. The front is from a Tudor and is chopped 5 inches to make it all line up....

Not on this one. After taking my time on the Punk making sure everything was the best that I could do, the purpose of this project is just to drink beer and slap a car together. Piero has it right. Ha Ha!

Wonder if it has anything to do with the super long shock arms? Seems I remember two spliced together to make one long arm. It looked great, I just never thought it was the best thing to do for functiondoubling the leverage and whatnot. Didn't Swander recently swap his Rolling Bones shock setup for tubes? Maybe those guys have so much trouble with the Firestones from Coker because their shock setup is wacky and it beats the tires to death? :)

Sorry Aaron. The Vikky looks really good. The chop looks great so far and I can definitely appreciate the work that is going into getting those panels together.
