Hi, just wondering if there was a group of people in Plymouth Ma area that get together and work on each others cars. I don't know anyone who works on cars!! I dunno where I came from, lol. I like workin on my car, but i find it way more enjoyable to drink a beer and bust balls with a few people while working on a something. Didn't know if there was a group on here. i check the clubs but my search came up empty. If there is and you're got room for one more let me know. If you think there should be one, well lets work on it. Take care Jack

Okay, I started this thread a while back, hoping to either find some people with similar interests or even better possibly hook up with a car club. Doesn't need to be in in The Plymouth area, just thats the end of the world were I live. So I figured I'd give it one more shot. So if there are people out there that either have room for one more or just would just like to work on their current issue on their ride and need an extra set of hands. I'm not a mechanic by trade but always willing to help out. There thats my disclaimer. Besides I need to get out of the house on occassion. Would really like to become part of an established club so I can really enjoy my car (once finished), and be part of something.

So I replied to my own thread, I'm not a tool I swear!:D

Ha! I'll take my private jet! Eventually I'll find a group of guys. If I get my car in drivable shape, there are cruises that leave a Walmart by me. Maybe I'll just show up and go from there. But there are alot of 30k fiber jobs that go. There are a few ol' school jobbers tho. I checked out yr links good luck with yr wagon/livery project. Photoshop looks cool.

Just head to a few cruise ins or local car shows.
Look for the cars you like then meet the owners.
If they ain't members of a club you can join, then
    start your own.

However I met most of my clubmembers online.

Not too many replies yet? Fear not. There are hot rodders, car guys, everywhere. But, they aren't going to come to you if you have no car.....in driving condition.
You mention cruises. Go to them. Get around. Say hello. Look at cars. Meet people. Mention your car and ask questions about...this...that. I bet you'll hook up with some decent guys.
I am originally from Boston. As a kid, hung around with some VERY excellent rod builders. I learned a lot and made really good friends with a common interest....cars.
Uh, not just cars......hot rods, customs...like that.
    Best wishes
