    News flash!
The front wheel cylinders for the 39-41 Ford brake system for p***enger cars and pickups haven't been available for years, except as NOS or NORS parts. Ford replaced them with the cylinders for 1942-48 in the 50s.
The 42-48 cylinders are available new at your local auto parts store and through any early Ford V8 parts supplier nationwide.

The rear wheel cylinders which fit all 1939-48 Ford p***enger cars and 1939-47 Pickups are also available as above.

NAPA and CarQuest both can get them - check the Tech Archives for brake posts - there's a list with part numbers done by DMarv (I think)

Ive got a Carquest hose that works well also, PN SP191.
Not sure of the overall length, but my notes say it is 3" longer then the stock 1940 hose.

.... they also have a very bad reputation.
Search here before sending them any money.

I know this is an old thread, but will take this opportunity to re-iterate the above advice. I personally learned several hard lessons before I came to my senses on sending real money to the OKC guys, expecting GOOD stuff (or GOOD service) in return. DD

Another source is Sacramento Vintage Ford, as well as the above mentioned venders.
