Damn, now those were the golden years of drag racing. I thought I was back there reliving it for a moment. Thanks a bunch for the memories.

How many "US 30" drag strips were there? One in every state east to west? Gary

  7. I was at a couple of the Super Stock Magazine events, and only wish the drags were more like that today.
Thanks for posting Mr. B. Knuckles.

Actually the full correct name of the PA track/airport was York US 30. The other was just know as US30 Dragway.

Thanks for posting the video! Brings back alot of great memories. I was lucky enough to have gone there in '68 when I was training ROTC guys at Indiantown Gap after Nam.

Ah, when men were men and they all knew how to stuff gears hard and left the automatics for the less fortunate. Great video and shit do they sound great when you crank the volume

  25. Thanx B.K. I drive by there every now and again and wonder what it would be like to have that still around. Now all you see is wide open concrete and asphalt and planes sittin around. Yea, That Strickler Mopar throwing back the gears is just plain WOT Violence.

  27. Very cool video!! My first drag race in my 55 was at York! I knew a couple of the tech guys who worked there. I drove it from Baltimore to York. I ended up breaking the rear  (stock rear, should have known better). They let me put it in one of the empty airplane hangers overnight so I could go back to Baltimore and get a truck to tow it home the next day.:D

  28. Yeah! That part was Awesome! Cool video.Gonna have to buy that one.:D
