Event Coverage Neat Straight Eight Rod

    Saw this at a rod, custom and musclecar show the other weekend. Very neat hi-boy style tourer wit ha Buick Straight Eight, quad carbs and a cool old school independant rear end with inboard drum brakes.
    Thought you guys might appreciate something a little different from a red fibreglass 32 with a 350SBC and TH350 trans.....

  2. Wow! Very nice and nobody loves oddball stuff morre than me...very nicely done. I'll bet it has a great exhaust sound.

    looks great.. I'm building an earlier version of that engine to put in my '50 F1.. hopefully the engine will be together by the end of next week.

    Planning on some extras on the engine as well, nothing to make it go faster, ok well maybe a little but lot's to make it look and sound great.

    I'll check with my friend.....I think he may have a better pic of the whole car...I was blown away by the engine....lol.

    That's awesome. The guy should repaint the block, though. That blue doesn't look right for a green car.

    Looks good but they messed up and put the steering wheel on the wrong side.:eek::eek::eek:
