Everybody's work is just killer!!! I'll be posting alot more stuff for Mitch really soon but for now here's a 4'x4' Coop inspired painting by my 14 year old son. The blue metalflake helmet really pops. He's got a thing for the old scare tactics in 50's advertising. He calls it the FYBRGLAS HELLMET
We did some decals for Gene Winfield too, maybe next week he will let us post them. Joe www.powerandnoise.com

Maybe I'm off a bit. When you are reading this thread you obviously see outstanding talent of some very nice people. The only problem is that for a reply to the thread some people feel the need to repost all the art work a second or third time of the individual they wish to compliment. This gets old and takes a great deal of time to view the entire thread. I guess I'll see who pays attention to this by the amount of death threats & hate mail I get. :D

  22. Reuben....Humble offering my ass.....

    Thats awesome work...

Hey guys, I always enjoy checking out the Friday art show. Some tremendous talent each week. This week is even better seeing the piece Zombie did for me. What's most impressive about it for me is how perfectly he nailed the image I have of it between my ears. Now I just have to get back in the garage and do his work justice!

  25. Thanks for being a part of this thing Reuben (ubermustang)

ZOMBIE, GREAT TO HEAR FROM YA. Love the drawing!

Sander, Thanks for the little comment.

    32, I love your work

So many artists, so much fine art.

Here's something a little different, a part of a series I started years ago.
This is a teaser, from this point forward, it gets less H.A.M.B. related tho

    Always love your work.

Everybody on here always put out some great artwork.
I got zilch this week. Been putting time in trying to repair the house still from Hurricane Ike. Next week for sure from me.

    Carry on.

  27. I acknowledge your humble demeanor, this painting however, is anything but.

This is a little project I threw together.
A couple of years ago I was asked to make a car-nose prop (to pose behind) for a Girl Scouts/ Brownies sock hop. I made a pink generic 50's car out of cardboard and accessorized with some real car trim and headlights. It was a big hit, but was pretty flimsy and I tossed it when the humidity eventually curled it up.
A couple weeks ago, one of the leaders asked if I would make another one for this years dance, so I decided to build something more permanent.
It's all Mopar except for the windshield frame which is made from 54 Ford reveal mouldings.[IMG]
