Guess it's my turn, mines a 31, seems as though it was rodded a long time ago. probly raced by the looks of all the stress cracks. boxed frame w/split bones up front. 40 ford front and rear. not sure what was in it before but i'm in the process of puttin in a 500 ci cadillac engine and turbo 400 trans. looks like the drive shaft will be about 18-20 inches. reversed firewall. channeled the deph of the frame , so it's a little more in front than rear , for a little rake. Im gonna chop it just three inches. pics comin soon.

Thanks! Got a bunch left that I have not sorted through.

fiftyv8, I'll take some better photos of it tommorrow.
I actually ended up using 2 bases. one on the outside, and one on the inside and made a tube that runs down to the tank that will connect with a short piece of rubber tubing. am actually going to get that part finished tommorrow.

Just starting on my 29. Keep the pictures coming. I need all the ideas I can steel......I mean find. :D

Thinking 5 inch chop 3 inch channel, 4 inch z in front and maybe 6 inch z in the rear. Coilovers, with a superbell 4 inch drop axle in the front with 39 lincoln brakes. I'm playing with the idea of replacing the metal roof with all wood (kind of a woodie up top). I cut out a plymouth voyager van top just in case. Also using 35 Ford wire wheels with 7.50 rear and 6.00 front with a 30 grill.

I'm going to start the chop this week.

Hi Rod, it sounds like it is going to be a good project, dont forget to do a dummy seat mock up to make sure you will be comfy with all that chopping and channeling going on.

I've measured a few different small cars to get an idea of how small I can go. I'm 6'3" and somewhat fit into a miata (I raced an F Prod Miata in the past). The Miata is 40" from floor to ceiling and this car should end up at 38 to 39". So, everything should work. The nice thing about the Tudors is that I have a long ways to go to put the seat back. :D

Thanks for the input. Any advice from HAMBers is much appreciated.

Guys, I just found this 29 Ford tudor build that is just amazing.
I will try and gets some pic on here when I can convince the owner to allow me to take a couple of shots of it.

It has a 126" wheel base, runs a 392 six carb hemi, is widened 8" the front door are lengthened, the body ois channeled 7" over the chassis, it has alloy IFS and airbags all round and it looks great.
My 1st comment was it looked like a Hummer hot rod as it is big.
Still with all the traditional skinny wheels etc.
Sure will turn heads, but hell in a shopping mall carpark.

Other than the Hawiaian shirt wheels, mines mostly finished.4'' chop, chevy van roof, shaved drips, filled visor.20 gal. poly tank in the rear.Single t-ram has been interesting getting fine tuned with some ungodly long duration cam.Running flowmaster racing mufflers with tons of dynomat. Can't make up my mind on a wheel/tire combo.Steelies body color and wide whites or Torque thrust D's .Wish I had a photochopper, and somebody to buy these wheels & tires.Chevy pattern rear, 4 1/2 fronts 20" and 17"

Here's mine. Started out building it on a model A frame, but recently switched to an original deuce frame.
