    Bobby Bottcher maybe, but not Bobby Hauer

    Hauer ran an orange coupe at Reading, Bottcher ran this at Middletown, if I recall . . .

    Is it just me?...but when I see a yellow #5 coach, I instantly think Ray Tilley!

    Dr. John,

    An interesting note (that you prolly already know) on the 02 coupe of Vern Pangrazio is that it is the former T.K. McKlean coupe in which Geoff Bodine got his (Modified)start.

  23. I love seventies modifieds, they were called hot rods here in Australia and in the Newcastle area where I grew up we had a bunch of 'em. I can't find one decent picture of them on the internet though, we don't have too many history pages of Australian speedway (except this one http://picasaweb.google.com/dgnb69), there's one but it barely touches on my areas great cars from that era.
