Just made the impound. we checked everything out. looks like they messed with the carb. fingerprints ALL OVER THE CAR. hopefully those prints can reveal who the thieves are. Cops said it was prolly on its way to chop shop and something went wrong....MAYBE WORD GOT OUT!!! THANKS for all your HELP. COULDNT DO IT W/OUT YALL!
ME TOO. BOB is tattooing. We had to get new registration bc they took the old one. had to get ins, 2. so we have been all over today...I just cant accept that these fools will get away. Somebody has to know something and those fools MUST PAY!!!!
They stole the plates? . Here,you keep the same numbers/letters for as long as you keep paying the ransom each year. No one would be dumb enough to steal a set of personlised plates but then thieves are not known for having too much inteligence.
Keep a good eye on it..some times those fools return ..they just cant accept defeat sometimes..hell..if it has to sit out side..take the battery out of it..and take the back wheels off it..put it up on blocks..and cover it with a car cover..with some snakes on the front seat!
I am totally stoked after hearing the great news, Bobby and Kim got the hot rod back!!! Glad to hear that it was not trashed and looks like everything is going the right way now. I hope they get the idiots that stole the car, if we are lucky the battery blew up in their faces or something like that.

LOL like your tude, lostn51!!! Dirtynails....they left the plates but took the registration papers and impound would NOT let us get the car until we had the registration....SOOOOO DMV then impound, well, ins agency, DMV, then impund. lol
no it didnt sell. I dont want him to sell it. I luv that car. but some bs about his ex and that was his ex's car but she cant fit the note....whatevs. i luv it! Glad its back even if only for a few. and if he sells it, we will make sure it goes to someone who will appreciate, luv, and respect the car

Too bad the Cops couldn't stake out the area for awhile before removing the car, it may have led to something bigger, or at least an arrest.
Everyone is not fortunate enough to have a garage... and even then... it could be stolen. Times are hard... and there are some desperate people out there that will unfortunately do anything. I HOPE THEY FIND IT, AND THAT IT'S STILL ALL IN GOOD CONDITION!
Well, so sad, but they are too busy giving out traffic tickets and spending time at the donut shops! That's why we have to do things ourselves! I truly hope it is found and in good condition. We'll definitely let you know if it came NORTH !!!!
I am pushing the cops. The investigating dep. has been off since wednesday. She is on duty tomorrow. Sooooo the investigation was haulted until tomorrow. THANKS to the HAMB we got the car back! IF it were up to the cops, we would not have it back! SO I am pushing to get the fingerprints matched....no one has contacted us about the details. I am just fed up with it. Bad guys get away with grand theft auto??? and i get a speeding ticket for 6mi over the limit???? KIM
That's how it works. Real thievs are too hard for the cops to catch, but they can bust you or me for a couple hundred clams with their radar gun without leaving the parking lot of the doughnut shop, Protect and serve indeed. I especially loved the part about your registration... The V.I.N. matches the tag on the car... The tag matches up with your name [as the owner] in their computer... Your drivers license matches you... But "someone" is too lazy to move a mouse and punch a couple keys... Nooooo, that would require too much work. Much easier for them to send you across town to get a friggin piece of paper to prove what they already knew, that the car was yours.

oh, btw...the car was found in another parish soooooooooooo Lafourche parish (our parish) just told me at around 4pm that their hands were tied. I called Lafourche Parish Police Dept to find out info about the investigation. I told them that I wanted to talk to the dep. or detective if there was one. The secretary told me that none was appointed and that the deputy already wrote her report and that it was forwarded to a detective...???? Sooooo I then told her that I have information about the car, like where we found it....she said, "OH, you found the car?" wow. this broad didnt even found the car! She said that whatever parish that the car was found is responsible for further investigations...like the area in which the car mysteriously popped up, the surrounding gas stations, the stop lights, etc....its a busy part of town....a camera is somewhere it just needs to be found. I want to see that car being dropped off in that complex....being followed by someother vehicle...etc!! POINT being, I will not rest until these lazy a$$ cops do what they are paid to do. Whatever you are, be a freakin good one. I dont care what it is.....I contacted eGay and they are also willing to help in any way they can, but cant give me any info. They would have to work with the police. (If the po pos would ever contact them.) ARG!!! The lady that I spoke to said that it would not guarantee that any one of the "watchers" on ebay were guilty....but its a freakin START...I cant wait to finish school to be in the position to make their HEADS ROLL!
