The vette belongs to a local guy here.
It was also in one of the Rod and Custom "Little Books" it was on the cover and was yellow.

The Bushwacker orginally belonged to Brad Anderson. He brought the car out from Colorado in early 1969, and decimated the local AA/GS scene before selling a few months later to Keith Bush of Nor-Cal

Emory Cook, in the car that started the fuel ban with a 166 pass at Lion's. My old racing buddy Nick Van Wagner heard that the reason why the Cook & Bedwell car accelerated so quickly off the line with direct drive was that they ran a super-rare set of Ford rear gears from a hearse. I don't know if that is just an old drag racer's tale, but Van Wagner, who also ran a carburated Chrysler on fuel, tracked the old Cook & Bedwell car to Kansas in an effort to get those gears. Anybody know the truth?
