    Look at the difference in the sizes of the cars.. This was the original "run what ya brung"!

    co-pilots were optional too.

    i'm intrigued by that #12, i wonder what's under the hood... motorcycle engine maybe? it's like david versus goliath with the #11 just beside it
     

  4. it is funny that you point that out, cause if you look at the bottom of the car you will see that it is making usage of "skirts" to keep the airflow from underneath the car, much more common to see that on todays race cars.

    The tanks were notoriously twitchy to drive at speed due to thier very short wheel base.

    I was going to say JAP or Matchless V twin but it's too big. An old mate of mine ,Mike Worthington-Williams, may possibly know, he has contacts everywhere including knowledge of the whereabouts of some of those English cars.
    Numer 11 is a monster! probably meant to intimidate with looks than speed :D:D
