This pic, show the car after Bush owned it, and was sold to Bob Dell, who used this as a stepping stone to Nitro Funny Cars and Dragsters, Bob is a good friend of mine who still gets out to the Drags and helps on my TA/FC.

Wow, that's a good one, lived in the A.V. all my life and don't remember an Antelope Valley Speed Center, or the car. I wonder if this was before R.E. Racing ? Nice Car and looks like it might be at the Winternationals.

Does anyone have any info about this car? Bob Longpre Pontiac was directly across the street from my Grandparents house when I was a kid.

  30. "Green Javelin @ Pocono Drag Lodge but I don't remember whose it was (it was the 60's after all."

This was Tom Smith from Bethlehem,PA.He ran this car on the East Coast Fuel Funny Car Circuit. He is not to be confused with Tom 'Smoker' Smith who also ran on this circuit, nor Tom Smith from Atlanta ,GA who ran the "Super Swinger" funny cars. Dennis Doubleday
