One of the last parts I need to get for my 5W is a license plate light. It will be mounted between the tail lights on the panel below the rear deck lid. I've looked around but really can't find anything. Who sells a nice traditional looking one???

  2. I like the basic one that everyone sells. Made by Vintique. Hot Rod CO? Vaphead?

A mid eighties mazda pickup light is close to the ones that everyone used years ago... can't find a picture. Bet you could pick one up for a buck at pick-a-part.

Just like always, I'll bring one to breakfast tomorrow. When are you going to learn...............check Frank's stash first.;):) I'm thinking there should be some kind of award when you consistantly save someone's**** no matter how deep they dig themselves in.:cool:

It is stainless and has two light bulbs.

  21. These types of threads are great. So much thought put into ONE LITTLE PART that adds up to a well thought out hot rod.

Well, it was bound to happen. The stash failed miserably. As well organized as I am:eek::rolleyes: I couldn't find the light I have so Fuelpump is still on the hunt. The best I could do for him today was drag out two examples of steering columns for him to try..When your under the gun it's better to divert attention than to be considered a total****hole for bragging about your...............well, you get the idea:).

Check out Moss motors. Its Brit stuff. They have things that work well for traditional cars. The triumph, healey plate light is good looking and there are even some plinths that can be modified to work with various applications.

The NAPA one above is the same lite. Don't know which size it is.

I'm running one on my truck that I scored at a swap for $6.

Maybe OT/ or too boxy, but this is off a 75'ish Volvo e1800. License plate light & back up light all in one.
