Hot Rods Steering Wheel ?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by JohnnyFast, Feb 17, 2009.

  1. I've never seen one like this before. Anybody know where it came from. I'm planning on replacing it with a Schroeder midget wheel....14", same diameter as this one.

I think the 1937 and 1938 horn*****ons and shift knobs are identical moldings, distinguishable by paint.
The 1937 ones were bare plastic, the '38's were painted "Zephyr Brown", which always flaked off completely...
So you can distinguish readily by looking at the*****on and determining whether it is bare plastic or painted plastic with no paint left. Easy!
