here is a caddy i just recently finished for a buddy of mine .

    air bagged 4 corners
converted front suspension from strut arms to a-arms
...coming back to me in a week for engine driven air .

To all who say this should go away, citing "irrelevance" because it's not pre-'64, I submit to you that this suspension first started being used in '61, making the undercar pics extremely relevant as examples...

What kind of air tank is that? I've never seen one made that way.

    Sharp car, sits nice.

Is that front suspension mod necessary to bag a Cadillac of this era? I have a '68 that I'd like to do in the future, I figured it'd be pretty straight forward seeing as there is coils on all 4 corners. Would like to hear more.

you know what i thought it was going to be straight forward too . just switch the coils for bags add lines and go ... but i ended up cutting up the rear coil cross member completely out and converting the strut arms to A-arms.
bags wouldnt fit in the coil bucket in the rear . not to were i trusted it ..i totally under bid this car .

    p.s

but as far as the necessity of the front convert.. its not really important . i didnt like the soild bar of the front for the travel i would get ..doesnt look like it would last .. but it wasnt to hard .just make sure the new arms bushing pivots on the same plane as the stock one .. or if you want to make it really easy .. call me and i'll do it . :D

  27. Nice job and I was definetly digging that front control arm mod...very nice work!!
