Are you referring to Paul Rebman??

  6. Thanks for the pictures. I have a Cushman Highlander and a Rupp Roadster 2 undergoing restoration.

Mini bike drags sound like a hoot.

He's a mile from my place so it shouldn't be an problem. I'll stop by there after work and see what his plans are for those few days and make sure he's going to be there.

I think Scott will FREAK if I bring any more toys to his place to ride. :D

We are talking about Bultaco motorcycles, right?

Any bultaco under 125 cc's was a "baby bull".

    Mine was a 125 Alpina.

He does drive it around abit. Paul is more of the cruz night kinda guy as oppose to a sit at a show kinda guy. He has a whole stable of cars. The one I see him cruzn around the most in lately is his traditional styled '40 Ford. He also has a real AC Cobra and is not afraid to drive that around either. Him and Frank are pretty tight.

Is the sidecar box on that **** kitty original? Or is the whole sidecar deal home-made? Looks like a fibergl*** tote that's an old standard in the tote biz for the last few decades.

Honestly never seen a minibike with a sidecar, can you describe the flexible mount??

I'd do a search but there is NO WAY I'm googling **** kitty. Ewww.

See, I've got a big backyard and have been threatening to get a shed full of minibikes. But you know what would be even better than backyard minibike racing?? Backyard minibike sidecar racing

I really need to post a whole thread on "Mini-Bike Madness" that we had at Scott's place last fall, and maybe I'll get to it but in the meantime here are some highlight photos. Notice the large pile of dirt top right, first photo. :D :D :D

Even did some night riding. Scott lives on a couple of acres out in the boondocks and it's quite dark at night. Notice my "headlight" :D
The boys allow me 4 wheels cuz I have a tendency to crash with just two.

In case anyone is interested and didn't realize it, BumperCarKid started a social group last year for mini-bike and go-cart folks.

A buddy just gave me a pile of mini bike parts. Now I'm motivated to start digging into it and see if I can get it going. Thanks for the bad *** photos!

Neat stuff. I noticed a couple of them have the front forks bent back. Mine were too after I hit a mailbox post.

First, thanks for posting all of the great pics. Love to have a few of those, especiallythe trick Cushman. Second, WOW. I can't believe that he gets $1500 to restore one of those or that a new one goes for $750 bucks. I would have guessed about $400 less than that.

A co-worker of mine is into the Whizzers. Took one to Bonneville last year and set a record. No-one had ever run anything that fit it's cl*** before. Salt got between the tire and fender and slowed it down. They plan to make some ch***is mods and go twice as fast next year.

Yup, that's the real deal. I've got a copy of the owners manual around here some where that shows all the add on stuff like the side car. My son, thx-138jr, found it doing a google search. Those high bars and the swoopy exhaust are factory too. Wish I had one of the chain guard/covers.

Did anyone else notice the Fox Shock on the front fork. It looks like the same one you see on most dual suspension mountain bikes.

Man lots of cool stuff. Makes me want to get my Taco 44 out and ride it around a bit. First got it in 1968!

This one was listed as an unknown year Taco frame, but I think it's actually a copy of a Taco Frejole, similar but not quite the same. Little different frame shape and totally wrong forks.

  28. Frank is cool dude and loves to talk and show off the cool stuff he has.

Used to be lots of hardware stores and places that sold mini bilkes and parts, but now just a few places like this around if you know where they are.

I forgot that you and Tim use to race go-karts "professionally". Still have yours? If so, you'll have to bring it to Scott's place in the spring. He's in Ann Arbor, right at M-5 and Ford Rd.

I'm not sure what this is....Cushman? but Frank brought it to Woodward this year and took folks for rides.
