Chris told me you and Pops were talking about getting a frame or two..I saw your ole man at the swap meet last week but he was talking to somebody so I didn't stop, that place is crowded!

Yeah Chris told me about the wagon, can't wait to see it...and yes I am.

also, this body has been narrowed eight inches and shortened five and a half inches, I will be extending the door opening back a couple to three inches and the rear portion is moved forward about five inches on top of everything else...

  8. That's a great project. The HAMB needs more modifieds!

And I agree, it does have a fat nose.

The nose looks great with that turtle deck. Maybe a bit wide but the style is spot on. What's with purple nailheads? Mine was purple when I got it too.

They are big bodies... for all the tall guys if you want a roadster these things are the one. Now I hadn't seen the trunk of yours before, they are definitely different as mine is straight up square.

and yes I do have wheel wells. Hmmm.... I need to look at Russ's again and see if his is different to.

Well mine is purple because I will be painting the car lavender with pink daisies and a unicorn mural on th trunk, it's a small trunk so they will be baby unicorn.

Worked for 6 or 7 hours yesterday on the motor mounts..

I started with template paper and a ball peen hammer to get the hole pattern

With cicrle templates I "refined" my lines and cut it out with some sharp scissors...

Pepper wanted to help me transfer from paper to steel, but I did eventually get them bolted on the block

I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted them to look like (still don't) so, with the help of Pepper, I made the pads that the rubber biscuit will come in contact with..

I cut them out on the band saw and cleaned them up on our newly aquired Burr King (I love that thing!!) and then Pepper wanted "her time".... and all this time I thought I was single!!HA

Yeah man i still have the doors you sent me and I may end up using them as skins, but I also have an old refigerator door from my buddy Chris that seems promising also...I have options... You need to get back on that build of yours and come race me at the 2011 Hamb Drags!

I have decided on putting the nose back on the wall and starting fresh. Also if any body is interested those valve covers are going too, I'm gonna make some y-block covers fit!!!haha..

    Back to worktonight!!

Wish I had thought of that. Would've been easier than stripping all that paint.

I guess I've never seen a buick. That's a sexy little tramp! I need to get her number.

So now I'll spend about 3786 hours scouring craigslist for no good reason..... :)

Sorry Scott she's taken and I stopped dating tramps last year, this one is a nice girl!!

Thanks guy's.. Here is how far I got last night, I spent monday night scratching my head trying to figure out what I wanted to do for motor mounts, did the same thing for about an hour last night until I told myself to stop thinking and just go.

I didn't take many pictures, but here are a couple...

And this is my final choice, not nearly finished...
