Cool details! Shitty welds though... Keep practicing, you'll get the hang of it. :D

This is the singlemost valuable and informative, well illustrated, most descriptive, inspirational, humbling motherfucking post I have ever read on here.
    Damn.

You're the man ... I'd like to make this into a little book for myself ... it sure is a lot more understandable than all the chassis engineering books I have and makes me believe I could do it too ... if I could get my welds to look like stacks of dimes every time.

    Wow. Just WOW.

    Thank you!

  7. Metal Magic at its best....you Mr Bass never cease to amaze me.

Innovation, creativity, imagination and the skill/ability to pull it off are rare talents indeed.

    Youve outdone yourself.....AGAIN !!

Keep raising that bar my friend - that we mere mortals may aspire to this precedent which you have now set.

What's your hole saw and grinding disc bill per month? Excellent work as usual. Wish I could think at your level. I think it gives us all some really good ideas though.

  19. Brian, TOP NOTCH! Love how you think. Can't really see your tierod too well. You went under the hairpin instead of through the middle. How is the clearance when you go lock to lock on the steering? I'm sure you have this figured but I can't see in the pics how close you are to the spring. I have been contemplating a similair setup. What is the distance when the wheels are cranked all the way from the spring? Again, Top notch work! Dale

  20. You, my friend, are an ARTIST. I will be keeping close tabs on this build, and am planning to copy this chassis in 1/8th scale.

I've seen many mounts, brackets and small things built this way but not the whole f*$%#@ing car. Mr Wade made a very smart choice for the person to do this build and I'm sure he is as proud of it as you are. This is truely a hand built hot rod start to finish. You inspire us all to show true design and skill in what we all know as hot rods. Thanks for sharing your work, we all learn from others and this is work we can all learn from.
