What stock Ford P. S. bracket can I use to mount a late 5.0 style pump to an early 302 and still be able to adjust the "V" belt? The early style pump just clears the inner fender on my '47 Ford.

  2. What you are saying is that you now have an early EATON pump and you want to go to a later CII?

Yes, I need to have a narrower package on the front of the engine, and I don't have the $ for a fancy March set up and I don't want to convert to a serpintine belt set up. Probably should have asked for the last V belt set up on 302/5.0

So change it to a V belt pulley. press one off, and the other on. I believe the spacing is the same on the bracket.

I used the set up that enjenjo recommended on a 351/w. It works great.

  6. Try the yards for a early to mid eighties 5.0L application, preferably without AC. The ALT may be multi-rib but the PS should be single sheath.

That's what I was looking for. Now I need some warmer, dry days to hit the pic a part/pull a part yards. In the teens this a.m.

    Thanks
