Matt, that thing coming together beautifully. I call dibs on that RAD 1952 Grille shell if you don't use it but I think you would be crazy not to.

Love the exhaust exits too! My friend Ron pointed out that I should run the exhausts out of my rails just a small exit hole where the reveal line ends in the back instead of trying to recreate it to match the fender line. Pretty cool idea I thought.

Not sure where the windshield will end up, I need to look at a few things but have planned on a hand made "hallock" style screen, I don't want to get beat up driving it.

Don't plan on stopping anytime soon..

Pat, while the nose is super heavy, it's nothing compared to the rear end, that thing is at least 250#

 

Any idea where that Doc Gage coupe is nowadays? I'm asking, cause a chop that heavy was unusual in the midwest back then. And I know where there is a five-window with a heavy chop like that, done way-back-when. And it has some red paint on it like your nose does. Could it be???

My dad's buddy paul had the body for awhile and sold it to a guy in Frankenmuth who turned it into the "North Bound Grape" , he sold it to a guy in the Chicago area where he still believes it is...I will be calling him later on today to get more info.

The one I'm thinking of has been passed around Iowa since the 70's. Ended up very rough and hacked up, but is currently being brought back. Was chopped approx 5" and channelled, but will now be a hiboy.

Nice one mate, Odd rods rock ! refreshing to see a non ford, use what you got. Heres mine. A luck barn find, swapped the body for a gearbox, other guys pay 1000's for ford tin.
