pics some with a little photo shoping done to them so you'll get da idea.
this is the grill I picked up, I chopped it several inchess to shorten it and its going to be installed upside down, I think it looks better that way.

The suspension will be covered over with sheet metal.

this is the grill sitting right side up before I chopped it and welded a middle section to it.

and after chop and middle section added and upside down the way I like it.

I picked up a 13 inch billet alum steering wheel and some drop down side door mirriors and long with 4 wheel adaptors so I can fit some 5X4 3/4 chevy rims, 20' deep dish out back and 18's up front.

the body work will be pau (done) this March when he gets back from vacation. I'm thinking of going with a bright silver.

Put the hood back on it, that chain is horrible. i liked it untill then, and i dont care for volksrods much... and put a rear window in it.

It will be very interesting to see where this thread goes... It's got almost nothing to do with traditional hot rods, but I'm blown away by the profile you were able to achieve on the 'bug's body, and I appreciate the craftsmanship very much.

Hopefully the Vee-Dub haters wont crash the party and get this shut down... We shall see.
