Not really sold yet on my wheels & WWW on the coupe, been thinking of some wires of some sort but have lost touch with what would look great. Any thoughts or pic's? Thanks, Lon

Some of the newer, painted styles look nice w/ a small cap (V-8, Ford, etc.), but stay away from the earlier chrome ones from the 70's-80's. They not only look dated, but are
a ***** to keep "tuned" and leak proof; hence their "cheap" prices today.....

Great looking car! You can't screw it up too bad with any wheel choice except 22s!

Don't sweat the small stuff, choose what YOU like and we'll like it too.

Just think they have been over done, dunno! I remember a nice looking '36 coupe on the cover of an '70z or '80z mag that had a set of wires, sittin low, maybe they were Kelsey Hayes? The coupe was pee green and still looked nice with it's stance and wheel/tire combo................... yep black!

    With that stance......

I'd have a hard time not running a set of 17" & 19" Dayton wires. Painted rims with painted spokes & little chrome knock off caps.

    Yeah, I said it.

Over the last few months I have followed your posts & threads, I can't believe you said that! I did a google for Dayton and that's not my cup of tea but thanks anyway! Maybe I was looking at the wrong Dayton's? LOL

I prefer traditional cars but can love a well done street rod too.

When I first looked at that pic of the '36 the first image that popped into my head was black paint, dark green Daytons, dark green leather interior with '55 Chevy carpet, & a Bob Kennedy woodgrain job on the garnish moldings, '36 steering wheel, & dash. As long as you're spending $$$, have Cl***ic recalibrate the original gauges too.

If you go with wires...no chrome...but a color contrast to car...

Looks good but add a set of spider caps or bullets and bullet lugs...
