2009 Gasser Reunion Thompson Ohio

I will be there but still no car yet, its getting close. I am fighting a shoulder issue and just cant get as much work done on the coupe as planned. The wife works weekends now so not sure about her, we/I may only come for Saturday only. Pray for dry sunny warm weather.

 

I'll be there trying to beat up on Rocky with my funny car.

Wanted to add this so no one is dissapointed or pissed when they arrive:

For those who have not been there, Thompsons practice is that only race cars and support vehicles are permitted in the pits, there is camping on the spectator side of the track also.

or you can rolll your gear in from the parking area (which is close)

there are ways to BS your way into the pits and that all depends on how creative you are talking to the gate guy.

I will say it is really worth the trip and a good time is had by all. always a great weekend!

I can't wait to see your car. She looks great in pics.... Are you bringing your 33 to display? I'm thinking about bringing the K.S. tribute car out and would love to get a side by side shot of them together. It'll be cool to run the funny car there, hope to see you in the final...!
