Started on the base then moved on to the top parts. The base started as 6 seperate pieces, the reflector was a piece of pipe that was flared/tapered. Then drilled a hole through the mount bolt to get the wires through. Here's the pics:

You certainly have my respect for both the artistry and the fabrication skills.
    Bravo.

I build these when I have time and give em to customers. But at only about an hour each you've got me beat by a loooong way. I did the street light too, very cool.

Thanks for the comments. The body has been blued (gun bluing) and a coat of oil on it. The rest of the pieces are either painted or clear coated. CMX, Cool little vehicles! Here's a pic of another I built as a gift for my nephew (14-16 hrs work).

Southpark, no offense taken. I do this stuff because I enjoy doing it, some people golf as a hobby...I beat on metal. Don't care if I ever make a nickle doing it. Here's another I've been working on for 3-4 years now.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    Man that is just GREAT...

With that amount of time spend

What would one of those cost?

I would love to have one to admire.

Thanks wetatt4u, the price would be ridiculious based on the time alone.....you plug in a rate per hour and make an offer if you want LOL. 400hours X $$/hr = you could buy a real car for this amount! Glad you like it.

Damn, brother. My wife would have thrown me out by now if I was doing that. Awesome. I don't think that qualifies as a hobby.....maybe an obsession?

The front wheels are tied together and the 4-link moves up/down (greatly restricted by the leaf spring). Nothing is connected to the steering wheel. The coilover shocks are non-functiona,l here's a pic:
