I have sellers remorse everytime I sell a deuce. I can't wait to get them done, then I can't seem to hold on to them for very long. Family or business has always been a priority. I'm doing the 3 window I've had for thirty years now so that will be a keeper. I know how you feel.

I'd like to consider myself a car man but when comes down to it I am equally a house guy too! Buy me a house any day I figure out how to get a cool car in the garage. I would do it if I had some to spare like RS does.

Besides, I wouldn't mind getting first dibs on some of Royal Shifter's **** when it goes up! His T is a****st the coolest ever.

Must have been tough to see it going down the road without you behind the wheel. The thing I remember about being behind the wheel, was how much more leg room your duece had compaired to my Av8. Sure was a "looker."

A few years ago I traded off a clapped out, poorly chopped and channeled (no floor or subrails) Deuce 5W body to a friend for some metal finishing and body work on a nicer 5W I have and I still reget doing that. I have a really hard time of letting go of any Deuce no matter what the reason is or what condition its in. :( That's why I call it the Deuce Disease, the withdrawls and separation anxiety are a killer! :D

I sold my '32 roadster almost a year ago. It also went to a great family. I don't get attached to the car I've built, I think my wife wishes I did so I stop spending to much time in the shop. I'm now working on a '32 Tudor project with a 3.5-4" chop and a '62 348 chevy. Good luck with the ranch wagon, I've always wanted one.

If you're truly a car guy, that feeling will always affect you when you sell something you invested time and/or money in. We all build OUR cars....so when they leave, they're taking a part of you with it. Till the jerkwad that bought it sands off half the paint (for patina), slaps a set of 20" blings on it - takes off your 'period' accessories you paid so much for and replaces it with some just fine and dandy billet **** and then wants to act like he knows cars....

just messin' with ya - your buyer looks like "one of us" for sure.

I am waiting on the guy to come and get my 51 Ford that I have had the last 29 years, it ****s but then I am looking at being able to drive my 32 Roadster by this summer.

I have sold a few cars through the years and I still miss having them around but you will always have the memories......

Cool little car. Rods are like puppys, you cant keep them all no matter how cute they are. I like your little truck better.:D

  13. Nothing in my car world has been permanent. If you have the resources to keep all your toys, then this is great. I've sold one to build another. I love the build. If I had a clue what the ultimate hot rod was, I might keep one forever. With that said, I had one toy for 9 years and one for 6 years. I have no idea how long the 32 will be around.
