Well here is what we dragged out of fab32's shop last fall
    [IMG]

And here is what the body looks like now with fresh paint and sitting on a new frame. I used a lot of the old (70s) hot rod front end but put a new 9" in the rear. I also went to 16" wheels and WWWs. The color is our own version of red oxide primer although it looks brown when photographed inside. And no the exhaust is not going to hang out like that but it is going to come out in front of the rear tire.

This was the first test fit of the body and I'm pretty pleased with the look thus far. Tomorrow we are going to cut up a perfectly good original firewall to make it fit and start fitting the steering. I can't wait to get this one on the road under its own power instead of like this:D. This outside shot does show the color much better too.

  12. Where did you find an original body in that shape? Most certainly not here in michigan! I would cut out a kidney and hand it over on the spot for a find like that...... Looks awesome.... I am jealous.

The 5 wd looks great Rich! I love it.

Now if Frank will get the '38 back on the road & I get my '32 running the deal will be complete.

No chop for this one.... at least for now. I want to see how it looks and drive it for a while before I make that decision.

No it wasn't blasted. The old primer was taken off the old fashion way.... air tools and elbow grease.
