IMHO a tach isn't a deal breaker. After you ride around for a bit, the builder of the car can fairly accurate judge what RPM the mill is spinning by the sound it is making. Ryan: Looks awesome. Chris certain does some pretty cool stuff.
Yeah, I suppose, but it's fun watchin' that needle climb, FAST..... Ya don't need oil or water either. If it starts to boil over or surges, it's too hot....if the engine starts tickin' too much, yer low on oil pres...haha!
True. A tach is certainly fun to watch. Think of the cl***ic line from the Blues Brothers. I think we blew a rod. Is that bad? Yep.
Hi. As new at this site I just want to congratuate to a pefect set of gauges. I'm working on a -34 Coupe and finding the time correct parts is hard especially here in Sweden. We have a lot of Hot Rods (highest % in Europe) but most of them are in modern style. Best Regards Ola L Sweden
RYAN......sure glad your car is now complete and needs nothing but DRIVING! ? had you told us you needed these ol time s/w gauges ..? or is this a secret fetish on a need to know basis?
Those look awesome. That panel is beautiful. Maybe I missed it somewhere but, who is the guy in the northwest that rebuilt the gauge for you?
