Hot Rods Woo Hoo...My 32 was accepted for the Pasadena Roadster Reliability Run !

I thought maybe because i am a girl they wouldnt accept my car, but i got the letter yesterday saying i will be participating in the Reliabilty Run in May. I am so excited.

I guess it shouldnt, i am new to this{first Hot Rod} so just nervous about everything. Cruzr will be my co-pilot on the run. Anyway i am really looking forward to the run , i had the car built to drive and plan many trips in it. I will be in Santa Maria also in May.

The car looks great and you should be very proud. The only people who are gonna give you shit about your car cause you're a girl are probably full of shit themselves (pardon my French) it'll actually be a good way to tell the real hot rodders from the fakes.

32gal is new to all this, but she is learning fast. she reads as much stuff as she can to learn. hell she even installed my headers on my coupe while i watched

That's cool. Your 32 is so bitchin'. I am going to try and make it myself. I have been accepted as well and can't wait. I have always wanted to do this run. Having lived in Washington before moving to Arizona I never would thought that I could do this. Lot's of history in this run and it should be a blast. I hope to see ya there.

 

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement and kudos to 32gal. She's a rare gal , really into the Hot Rod Traditional scene!! In a few years she will be an old salt at this the way she is sponging up info and everything!
