HAMBANDY update March 9th

Hey everyone...........sorry late with updates.

As in a previous post Andy is in hospital fighting the chordoma once again. And wishing to let them get Andy fixed up and comfortable in hospital i have waited til i was asked to visit OUR little buddy........

Suppertime my wife suggested i get off my lazy ass and get over to visit....so off to the Janeway hospital we went. Once there i noticed a "no visitors Keep Out" sign .....i knew who was in there.....lol... Seems that Andy likes quiet time from time to time and especially at nite when Chris is sleeping over......But my wife being a nurse at that hospital asked to check and see if Andy indeed want us to drop in....answer.....A BIG FAT YES!

So im not sure who was happier to see who....me see Andy or Andy see me.....damn he is one tough customer...and boy does he love to listen to hot rod trash....but he was a little down that the tv only has shit channels....so i offered some of my movies ..even the 80's ones of street rods....which brought a chuckle and a sure...i'll watch them from Andy.

Today was a very good day for Andy, he was feeling quite well despite a few weeks of feeling like garbage. He is on lots of drugs to ease pain and to combat the illness as they keep looking to fight this nasty tumor. He did get out on day pass to go home and check the HAMB...... He isnt much for posting about himself ....but let me tell you....Andy is the toughest hot rodder out there, bar none. He doesnt complain about nothing....where most of us would whine and bitch....but not Andy.

Keep Andy in your thoughts, he keeps the HAMB in his.

Damn man, why do my eye's sweat, every time I hear about Andy back in the hospital, and fighting a fight that would make wimps out of most men. Damn he's something else. Dude - you got an army of prayer warriors out here, doing what we can to fight for you.
Make us proud, buddy. And a bunch of us Texans, would LOVE to see you at the HAMB Drags, soon.
