If it runs and drives well, and I suspect it does, I agree with Sawzall... Shut the hood and drive it.

Those injected SBFs run great. Fuck it, just keep the hood shut. Customs shouldn't have their hoods open anyway
I agree. Keep the hood shut. I get asked to open mine all the time. I tell them it's empty. I had it towed here.
heck the mill in my 49 looks pretty darn good, 3x2, nice trim, finned alum in the right places...and (once I'm done with it) I'll still keep my hood shut....its a custom and I worked damn hard on the lines, section, chop etc to bust em all up by opening the hood....just my take
