2009 Lonestar RoundUp Meet & Greet Info

The Lonestar RoundUp is the weekend of April 17th in Austin, TX and once again Megan and myself will be coming into town for it. We're really looking forward to seeing our TX pals, and others of course. We'd like to make sure everyone gets the opportunity to say "hi" to each other and mingle. So, how does 1pm on Saturday in the grassy, treed area in the middle of the vendor section at the fairgrounds sound? I'll have a banner and name tags and of course we'll take a group shot too.

So, who's all coming and what cool rides should I look for to snap a photo of??

 

I know Acme Speed shop , Jeb & I are coming out from California & with no booth I'll be able to be there

 

Are you bringing your roadster and if so.....can I get a ride

we will be there, and have a vendors booth with the boogievan in it...........you better say hi lol..........I volunteer to take a group photo with the banner if you can round everyone up

 

If work holds up you can count me in. I'd definately like to increase the #'s from Michigan.

Come to the Meet & Greet on Saturday at 1pm and take the group shot maybe then we could get one photo with everyone in it. In the past we've had in excess of over a 100 HAMB folks there all at once.

I will be there with my wife Davina, and we are driving down with Ron aka BloodyKnuckles and perhaps 31Whitey. I should have my roadster back on the road freshened up so keep your fingers crossed? It will look sort of like this...

 

I will be there. Since my ride isn't "year" appropriate, it will be in the parking lot, but I will be there for sure.

Denise, I think it is really cool for you & Megan, Bob & Maggie, Ken & Vickie, Jerry, Steve & the Arizona guys, Aaron and everyone else to travel so far to a little ole car show in Texas, Can't wait to see y'all!!

Not sure how I'm gettin' there yet, may ride, may drive, but I'm planning on being there.

 

The "Fruck" will be there, unless he breaks and bolts for the barn again (like the past three years)?? Or runs out of gas on the maiden voyage??

 

Add another Michigander invading the Lone Star state...after a little detour thru Moab Utah. Gonna be a long drive.

Unfortunately, leaving the F-100 home. The Jeep likes the Moab rocks better.

 

we're coming down with fudpucker and his daughters new Tee, i'm driving my 50 shoebox ( i bought there last year) ,he's driving his 58 ford, yblock curiser will be with us along with Straykat Mick , will be pulling in early friday morning.

 

Mary Jane and I are heading down when she gets off work on Wednesday. Going to drive part way that day and the rest of the way on Thursday and will be there some time Thursday afternoon. Looking forward to it. Will be our first Round-Up. Driving the truck.

I'm there, and my dad from Seattle will be there. He's on the Hamb but can't seem to find the main board. He always posts on the intro or questions section...

Stacy and I will be there as per last year. Were flyin in to Dallas and ridin down with the guys from THEM! and most likely will be with THEM! most of the wknd. THEM! guys were really cool last year and we made really good friends with THEM! so lookin forward to hangin with THEM! and the rest of out TX friends.

Missed the Meet & Greet last year, so hopefully will make it this time.

 

Hahahaha!!! My father used call me up and have me walk him threw the DVD player!!! But then he would go into work the next day and rig together 50 foot tall pumps into a Chemical factory. Dads....they make me chuckle.

 

Who is it you are hanging with most of the weekend? I am not sure you were clear.

She has spent 45 years with me. nothing I do surprises her.
