    This car is an original Z/28 that was a street racer turned drag car. I talked to the original owner (Bill) a couple of years ago and he said he sold the car to a guy that restored it.

    I think that guy in the background with the shorts is probably pissed by now. His buddy told him that they were going to go and watch some guys work on their cranks and rods..and that maybe they could help a team "pack the chute"...this was not exactly what he was hoping for...

  24. Sweet! I've been looking at a lot of these pics to get a feel for where the drivers head ends up verticaly. I was afraid mine would put me to low. Looking at this guy I'm in good shape.

    Also note how much space between the firewall in the block. I was afraid mine was to far forword. :) Keep 'em coming!
