http://jalopyshowdown.com/ Never too early to start planning out the old school year, I love this venue!!! I started going to the Latimore dirt track in the late 90's with the Inliner's group and the track management would let us do a lap on the dirt. The HAMB group has made this #1 on my must go to list!!!

I'll be heading up there from the Northern VA area. This show is the start of the car show season. Usually they say you should save the best for last but this show is the best by far.

  3. Man, I'm stoked! I have both weekends off.. and they are now on my calender.

Better to go Friday night, and leave Sunday! Larry has a band planned for Friday night already. Make sure you have enough time to visit the EMMR museum. Showdown on Saturday, and a rehash of events on Sat. night (the only time Larry truly gets to relax!) usually around a camp fire. A premier event, early in the year. Kinda like Daytona being the first event on the schedule. Don't miss it!

Might go...might not. I quit doing magazine work recently and may take some time off from cars this year.

Camping is free, vendor spot would be $40 and includes 2 admissions: basically you just show up and he finds a place to put you. PM scarylarry if you need more specifics...

Can't wait! Great show, great venue. I like it so much I may even bring an old car.
When you check out the shows website be sure to look at the photo page. The little kid at the bottom in the car ride at the museum is my boy!

Kim and I will be there again !! Great time every year. Dragged out parts from all over the yard and started building the 27 T Tub this weekend .... Hmmmm we thrive on UNrealistic goals. Now, what to pull it out there with??? the 55 ford panel or the 58 Edsel wagon??????
