Oh man... RIP Andy! This is sad news indeed!

I think there is a lot to learn from someone like Andy. He had amazing strength and carried an attitude that we all should carry around with us.

My thoughts go out to friends and family!

Godammit, I can hardly type this as the tears keep falling on my keyboard. I had hoped and prayed that Andy would come through this horrible disease to spend countless summers cruising with his litany of HAMB bothers and sisters. However, it looks as if there is another place for Andy to cruise, one where he will be free of the terrible pain that has hounded him for the past three years. That is a good thing.

I wish him a memorable journey. I wish his family and friends that they finally find peace and happiness. Although I never met young Andy, his courage and inquizative nature while facing the horrible spectre of cancer have given me a new appreciation of life and how precious it is.

HambAndy, I will miss hearing and reading about you and will regret never getting to have my old hand shake your young hand. God speed, Andy...

 

its hittin me really hard, i have lost friends here and there and never really teared up, i sure am now.......wow

Leon, my heart goes out to you mate. Your effort's and all the others who helped him live his dreams are outstanding. If you guys ever need a place in Australia my house is your home.

RIP HAMBANDY. Damn I was really hoping the kid would fight his way past everything. The kid made one hell of a fight of it. He will be missed by us all on here.
