These photos are from the collection of over 1500 pics ive gathered form magazines, books and internet. I didn't take any of these cause im 22, I just really love drag racing history!

Dutch Irrgang drove a Vega wagon for JJ, I think that's the one in that photo, #1002. Spent time as a Super Gas car for several owners here in PA, now being restored.

No, Snodgrass & Mahnken's "Psycho" was an AA/FA, and was IIRC eventually sold to New Zealand, where it ended its days at the end of a short track...

I have made mention of this before, but Pat Mahnken, one of the co-owners of the Psycho Mustang , lived down the street from me. I recall when the car was clothed in a Fiat shell. Blown 427 Ford wedge on fuel served as the means of propulsion. Direct drive allowed for smokey jack Chrisman Comet like launches

 

Dude, you're repeating shots that have already been posted, by other people, and, ahem, you didn't even change the file name of when I scanned and posted this shot. Got anything that hasn't shown up here already?

 

Actually Bill Pound brought the S/M Psycho to Australia not New Zealand. By then it had a blown 392 under the hood but you are correct that it finally crashed in Oz.
