Very sad news. I never met him, but was inspired by his spirit and resolve. I was also inspired by all of you here who took him under your wing - I'm sure you made his journey easier.

It's all ready a suckie day. Just got back from seeing my dad at the graveyard just hours ago. To day-St. Patrick's Day- is pop's birthday. And now this--real suckie day. R.I.P. little dude. What is good is all the love that alot of different folks gave and did for HAMBANDY. This is a great place with a good heart.

God, this is absolutely aweful. I am truely sorry for his family and his friends. He will be missed but will be remembered. I can only imagine how much it meant for him to be with his family in his final days. Godspeed little buddy you are in my thoughts.

  15. Having two sons of my own,I feel for the family. He was a great kid! It was great following his progress and the build of his car too. At least he got to drive it!
    He's in a better place now,with NO pain,NO hospitals,NO more treatmants...

Man, I just logged on and saw this and my heart sank to my shoes. I guess I didn't realize how sick the little fella was. My condolensenses to the family and I wish I had more comforting words but I'm truely at a loss for words. Is there a place where we can send something or a charity fund setup for donations like research and such? Andy got to do a lot of stuff some kids just dream about but he got in the game and played well.
God bless him and Lord, here comes a great fella so treat him well... maybe put him in charge of the Model A section. (just trying to lighten up a bit folks, no disrespect intended). Aman.

What an inspirational young man he was. Such a tragedy to have lost him. My condolences go out to his immediate family and his extended family. Just at a loss for words. I'm so, so sorry.

I think its only fitting that we try our best to celebrate his life, rather than mourn our loss.

He was obviously a great person and his impact on our little group and anybody who has heard his story was a great one. I know I will never forget him and hopefully I can do my best to be more like him.

    See ya Andy.
