When those were taken,I believe he was 14 yrs old. I went through those slides three times, still couldn't see them, damn eyes seem to be watery tonight.
Great slide show. Very cool little Model A. I wish I could of met Andy. Bunch of good people still in this world! RIP little man!
Is a grown man suppose to cry?........I can see the the card and decals I send Andy in one of the pictures of him.
Andy definitely left a positive mark on this world and he is definitely going to be missed by a lot of people, but not forgotten. What a great kid! Hope you are still smiling looking down Andy, I am sure you are. RIP.
I took a few pics of Andy and Chris out here in California. I've got them here... http://www.kodakgallery.com/davidmarian/main/andy_in_california DAVE
After watching that slide show it really makes me sad about Andy Dunn. I think all of you that helped build that Hot Rod for Andy should be very proud of yourselves, it is truly amazing. Rob
Never knew Andy, it's a real tragedy what has happened. Just from the post I've read the past two days, even as tragic as it is, he was a lucky young man to have all of you as his family. You can see his gratitude and happiness in each picture... Strangely I had my tunes on while looking at the slide show and I wouldn't lie about something like this at the first when it''s showing Andy's room and what looks to have been a birthday or something, Frank Sinatra Fly Me To The Moon was on and almost as it went to the pics of everyone working on the car strangely Rush's Working Man live came on... it was just kind of fitting. Kept me from tearing up as I have all day today thinking about this young gentleman and some of my own friends that have passed too soon... You guys should be proud of what you've done... You made a real difference in someones life while you could... And sounds like he made a difference in alot of peoples lives and will continue to do so for a long time to come... I can truly say at this moment I'm proud to be a car guy and very proud to belong to a group of people like you all. HAMBANDY RIP and know that you have touched many... Strangely as I finish this fitting Elvis Memories come on... :-(
great tribute to a great kid , the smiles on his face in the photos says it best , thosr of you who met him and made his dreams come true should be truly proud of yourselfs !
I can't believe he is gone. From the first time I heard of his plight I couldn't get him out of my mind. Just kept thinking I wanted to do something.................anything. Then when it was decided to give him a hand building the car of his dreams I wanted in. Seems just about everything was falling into place ,then I got the idea for the GMB's to buy him the tires It was a scramble to get everything for them to get to Newfoundland, but Danimal saw to it and they made it in time for the build. Andy and I shared a couple of medical problems aswe both had shunts in our heads to drain away excess fluid on the brain. I was looking forward to seeing him at Mokan some day and watching him make some passes in his hot rod. Sadly that wont happen. God speed little buddy. Frank
I never knew Andy but watching the slide pictures told a lot about him, it is truly sad that he had to go at such a young age. Andy looked like he was really enjoying what everyone was doing with him, and he was proud of his car. I lost a nephew when he was just 12 years old from a disease that robbed his body of life. You guys really did good. Thanks for putting the pictures together.
