History Drag cars in motion.......picture thread.

Neglected Steel, I don't know where you got these photos, but they look a lot like the NASCAR Drags during Speedweek in Daytona. They drag raced at Spruce Creek Airport every night for "The Week" with those spotlights behind the cars to light the track. Very unusual lighting arrangement. Those huge spots would shine through the back window and reflect off the inside of the windshield, making it almost impossible to see. We used to cover the back window with white shoe polish to block out the glare. I'd guess the photos are from the early 60's if in fact, that is Daytona.
