    Its a 59 Commuter 4 dr Wagon.

My pickup should be on the road soon, but only being a 2 seater, we want something we can carry the whole famn-damily in. Seing this seats 9, we should all be able to fit:D

The body is in really straight shape, except for a few shopping cart dings. The passenger side "panel" glass is smashed. If someone knows where i could find one, please let me know. THe 383 merc motor is seized, although the owner doesnt know how badly. All the fluid appeared clean, so maybe with a little work we can get her turning. Not sure if we are going to do a motor swap. Kim said she wants something she can take anywhere, so something with parts availabilty might be in order. SHe made mention of driving it to the drags, so i might have my work cut out for me.

Here's a pic of the beast, what do you think?

It's a real beauty, could be alot worse, but the engine being seized is not good.

  5. She could drive that for the next 200 years and never have another one pull up next to her at a stop light. Cool.

We just made a panel wagon out of a '58 Ford Country Sedan Wagon and I have good glass for the rear sides from than. I suspect they are the same. Where are you located?

Oh yeah!! I love the Merc wagons! Make it dependable and she will dig it too.
My chic loves "her" wagon and drives it more than I do! It's been on two Hot Rod Power Tours, and long hauled both of them with a kid. To Austin a couple times and a bunch of other hauls too.
    DO IT!!

If it's been sitting on that grass for very long, I would have a good look at the floors. Grass loves to eat metal things.
