A couple of shots in the sun.....but it's hard to photograph flake...... I used Roth baby (.004 i think) gangreen flake over a Latemodel GM emerald green base. The flake was shot mixed (heavily) with the clear, through a 1.4 tip on my HVLP gun.
That is different. I cant recall offhand the last time I have ever seen black with green flake flames.
The latest pictures....I'm pretty much done with the outside now, just the disc brakes and new Jamco spring to install now.
Last weekend, I decided the decklid looked too black....I wanted to brighten it up, and breakup that big blank space a little......The keyhole for the trunk is in the pupil of the eyeball. I also striped the hood tonight, but didn't take a picture.....
Hoods sorta done, I'm not sure, but I think it needs a little bit more.... I got spacers for my rear wheels machined, and the wheels installed. I think I am just about done for this year, or at least until the snow starts next fall.
Just paint, the car came from Wisconsin, and the bumpers were really rough, even had a little rust through in spots. Some day I'll find a good KS donor car that has better chrome and potmetal pieces..........
