Hey guys...Im pretty much the new guy here...I lurk in the classified and have bought many things from different members, but now I have a question that I hope is ok to post here....I picked up a couple items today and was wondering what they would be worth....no matter the value, I picked them up for a song, so Im not upside down in it, just curious how good of a deal I got....The first thing is a snap-on mt1665 counselor (engine analyzer)...It comes with everything including users manual and VHS tape all the cords...(snap-on) timing light, and a whole drawer of accsesories. It was only used a few times, as the shop that had it didnt do much with gas engines (mostly diesel), and was losing there storage and since they never used it, pretty much let me "take it off their hands".. I also picked up an old A/C spark plug cleaner/tester..again it comes with a bunch of adapters and a can of abrasive, line dryer (on the air inlet)..etc. Ill see if I can attach a couple pics....

Wow...didnt expect the old plug cleaner to be worth that. I hooked it up before I left his shop and stuck an old plug in and it came out like new. Between my old '51 shoebox and '65 fastback i figured i would get alot of use from these 2 things. Since the guy was losing his storage, he was hauling all his "junk" to scrap....couldnt believe it...pays to be in the right place at the right time!

  4. on second thought , it's not worth much.....i'll take it so you have more space

i've seen them go for that much , and sometimes a lot less...i guess it depends how bad they want it.

that's a real neat machine, after you clean them you can test them under pressure to see how they would spark in the cylinder. you would be surprise how many plugs would fire ok out in the open...but no so good when you have it under pressure

  5. well i can hook ya up what brand do ya want?:d
