I am also not an expert rodder, and did the google for colors. Unfortunately, almost all were black and white (cool for posterity, bad for me). I hunted for 15 minutes and gave up.

Nope, no one is scolding. I think we just need a bit more patience sometimes (unless your ride is going to paint that afternoon, you can wait a bit, right?). This takes a decent amount of work and a good amount of time (unless you're James D ). Sometimes finding the time is the hardest part.

these pics are not my car but are the best pics I could find. Mine is a little rougher.

Lower it. Dark burgundy red? Lake pipes? Shave some trim?

Hey Minnesota, is this more along the lines of the "black cherry" color you mentioned?

 

Wheels are pretty much on,but if you could bring that gold to more of a copper(Almost bronze,and drop the stance to the ground,that would be about what I'm looking for.

Not a problem!.. I'm hoping to have the floor and patch panels in this summer and have it all ready for paint by fall the latest.. it would go a hell of alot faster if I was able to get rid of my other o/t 68 f100 shortbed project..so I can throw everything at the 50. But Man let me tell ya.. this site gives me way to many ideas of things I like to do it. I'm half afriad it will never get to the finish stage because I keep seeing something else I want to add to it.

 

Heres some photoshop work that helped me turn a hulk into a reality. Started as a 1929 Plymouth hulk for $400, ended up a different hot rod truck. Never did do the roof chop unfortunately.

Another idea - though it´s Kustom7777s idea and not mine. `58 Ford chrome.

 

I think you may have problems with the grille surrounds. I blended them together. Easy for me - hard for you!

 

Can someone take my car and do two photoshops for me?
I am looking for one as a gasser style and one as a road racer style.
